Ultimate Old School Merengue Megamix ( Tribute to Julio Jr. "EL Hombre Gozadera" )

Back in the 90s I had the pleasure of working alongside DJ Crazy J , Carlos Lanza and Julio Jr at Miami Radio station EL ZOL 95 as well as in the popular Coconut Grove Nightspot Club 609  Mixing Latin music was just beginning and we were always looking for creative ways to present this new ” DJ Mixing ” show to our audience. Julio Jr was one of the personalities who favored very high energy productions, He introduced such artists as Oro Solido, Fulanito, Kontrol,Banda Gorda, Manicomio and many more who now are synonymous with the Latin Club Scene of the 90s. He aws known as ” El Hombere Gozadera”  he died tragically and untimely at a very young age of 29 , but none the less had a great impact on many of us who DJed during those years. The drop that I use in my mixes is his voice, produce for me by Julio himself and this mix was inspired by my good friend Julio Jr
