DJ LEOMIAMI | OCTOBER 2019 We recently met with some of the Latin DJ Members of the South Florida DJ Association and asked them, what are the most played songs at a Latin Weddings In Miami. Miami Latin weddings are very unique and vary in many different ways. Hispanic or Latino (of any race) make up 70% of Miami’s population, as of the 2010 census. The many different latino ethnic groups have their own unique favorite songs but many songs have crossed over from one ethnic group to another and are shared between the different latino groups. It’s true that Latin DJs have their work cut out and it’s very difficult to keep everyone on the dance floor happy. Even though most latins like “YMCA” and “Cotton Eyed Joe” those are not the most prominent songs at Latin Weddings. Latin DJs have their own arsenal and go to songs that fill the dance floor from Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Vallenato, Latin Rock, Etc… Here is a list of the Most played Songs at Latin Weddings, Miami Edition.
